I’m Owen Madden, the Green Party candidate for the Kamloops-Shuswap-Central Rockies riding, and I want to be your MP.

As a co-owner of a small business in Grindrod, growing and distributing fresh vegetables and fruits directly to households, I have had the good fortune of employing and hearing from a wide diversity of perspectives in our region. I have developed a clear view of how Governments can help develop businesses like ours as well as how they can support our communities in their everyday lives.

We’ve farmed through extreme weather events on an almost annual basis recently, from heat domes to intense local wildfires. Our communities have shown deep resilience in the face of the climate challenge, but government action has failed to match the severity of our situation.
